Authorize a Notice of Invitation for Sealed Proposals No. 07182022 for Permit Management Software Solution for the Community Development Department.

Background Information

Community Development is requesting to solicit proposals for a Permit Management Software Solution that will maximize efficiency and enable staff and customers to access digital records, submit forms and plans digitally, and review documents.

Evaluation

The current Trackit system is not flexible and does not offer a complete workflow solution that a software solution can propose. It is the goal of Community Development to evaluate the submittals and select a solution that improves overall efficiency for internal staff and external customers, saving time and providing better value.

Conclusion

In order to streamline processes, utilize digitized records, and improve overall efficiency and customer service, moving to a software permit management solution is in the best interest of Gila County and the Community Development Department.

Recommendation

Staff recommends advertising for proposals for a permit management software solution.
