Approval of Service Agreement No. 07052022 for ground preparation and installation of portable roping arena at the Gila County Fairgrounds.

Background Information

A portable roping arena is one of the improvements being added to the Gila County Fairgrounds. Fill material and sand must be hauled in and the ground preparation completed before the installation of the new arena. Bids were solicited for the ground preparation and roping arena installation. Four bids were received for the ground preparation and two bids were received for the arena installation. The goal is to have the work completed by the Gila County Fair in September of 2022.

Evaluation

The bids were reviewed and all were deemed responsive. The lowest responsive bid met the threshold of the informal solicitation process.

Conclusion

Staff recommends awarding a service agreement to the lowest responsive bidder for the ground preparation and arena installation.

Recommendation

Staff recommends a service agreement be awarded to Convenient Mobile Services, LLC in the amount of $88,209 for the material hauling, ground preparation, and installation of the portable roping arena at the Gila County Fairgrounds.

Information/Discussion/Action to award Service Agreement No. 07052022 to Convenient Mobile Services, LLC in the amount of $88,209 for the hauling of fill material and sand, the ground preparation, and portable arena installation at the Gila County Fairgrounds to be completed by September 30, 2022.
