Background Information

On August 4, 2020, the Board of Supervisors approved Professional Services Contract No. 061420-1 with Law Offices of Jonathan Warshaw, whereby Mr. Warshaw provides legal services for indigent citizens as appointed by the Superior Court in Gila County for the period beginning July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021. The original contract was executed for a not to exceed without written authorization amount of $72,000.

Evaluation

Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 060720 extends the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

Conclusion

Court Administration wishes to execute Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 060720 with Law Offices of Jonathan Warshaw to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

Recommendation

The Court Administrator for the Superior Court in Gila County recommends approving Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 060720 with Law Offices of Jonathan to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, for a not to exceed without written authorization amount of $72,000.
