Approval of Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 061020 with Gregan & Associates for the Superior Court

Background Information

On July 7, 2020, the Board of Supervisors approved Professional Services Contract No. 061020 with Gregan & Associates, whereby Gregan & Associates provided legal services for indigent citizens as appointed by the Superior Court in Gila County for the period beginning July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021. Contract No. 061020 provides the option to renew the contract for three additional one-year periods. The original contract was executed for a not to exceed without written authorization amount of $72,000.

On June 15, 2021, the Board of Supervisors approved Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 061020 with Gregan & Associates to extend the term of the contract for one additional year to June 30, 2022, with a contract amount not to exceed $72,000.

Evaluation

Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 061020 extends the term of the contract for one additional year to June 30, 2023, with a contract amount not to exceed $72,000 without prior written approval from the County.

Conclusion

Court Administration wishes to execute Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 061020 with Gregan & Associates to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023.

Recommendation

The Court Administrator for the Superior Court in Gila County recommends approving Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 061020 with Gregan & Associates to extend the term of the contract for one additional year to June 30, 2023.
