Approval of Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 061420 with the Law Offices of Barry Standifird.

Background Information

On July 7, 2020, the Board of Supervisors approved Professional Services Contract No. 061420 with the Law Offices of Barry Standifird, whereby Mr. Standifird provided legal services for indigent citizens as appointed by the Superior Court in Gila County for the period beginning July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021. Contract No. 061420 provides the option to renew the contract for three additional one-year periods. The original contract was executed for a not to exceed without written authorization amount of $108,000.

On June 15, 2021, the Board of Supervisors approved Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 061420 to extend the term of the contract for one additional year to June 30, 2023, for a contract amount not to exceed $108,000.

Evaluation

Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 061420 with the Law Offices of Barry Standifird extends the term of the contract for one additional year to June 30, 2023.

Conclusion

Court Administration wishes to execute Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 061421 with the Law Offices of Barry Standifird to extend the term of the contract for one additional year to June 30, 2023, for a not to exceed without written authorization amount of $108,000.

Recommendation

The Court Administrator for the Superior Court in Gila County recommends approving Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 061421 to extend the term of the contract for one additional year to June 30, 2023.
