Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 061520 with the Law Offices of Raymond Geiser for the Superior Court.

Background Information

On July 7, 2020, the Board of Supervisors approved Professional Services Contract No. 061520 with the Law Offices of Raymond Geiser, whereby Raymond Geiser will provide legal services for indigent citizens as appointed by the Superior Court in Gila County for the period beginning July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. The original contract was executed for a not to exceed without written authorization amount of $139,848.

Evaluation

Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 061520 extends the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022; and increases the contract amount by $5,000 for a new total contract amount not to exceed $144,848.

Conclusion

Court Administration wishes to execute Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 061520 with Raymond Geiser to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022: and to increase the contract amount by $5,000 for a new total contract amount not to exceed $144,848.

Recommendation

It is the recommendation of Court Administrator Jonathan Bearup to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022; and to increase the contract amount by $5,000 for a new total contract amount not to exceed $144,848.
