Background Information

On July 7, 2020, the Board of Supervisors approved Professional Services Contract No. 061420 - Law Offices of Barry Standifird, whereby Mr. Standifird provides legal services for indigent citizens as appointed by the Superior Court in Gila County for the period beginning July 1, 2020 to June 30, 20121 The original contract was executed for a not to exceed without written authorization amount of $108,000.

Evaluation

Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 061420 extends the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

Conclusion

Court Administration wishes to execute Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 061421 with Law Offices of Barry Standifird to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, for a not to exceed without written authorization amount of $108,000.

Recommendation

The Court Administrator for the Superior Court in Gila County recommends approving Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 061421 to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
