Background Information

On August 26, 2020, the County Manager approved Professional Services Contract No.071620 with DeBrigida Law Offices, whereby DeBrigida Law Offices provides legal services for indigent citizens as appointed by the Superior Court in Gila County for the period beginning July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021. The original contract was executed for a not to exceed without written authorization amount of $46,000.

Evaluation

Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No.071620 with DeBrigida Law Offices extends the term of the contract for one additional year term from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

Conclusion

Court Administration wishes to execute Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No.071620 with DeBrigida Law Offices to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

Recommendation

The Court Administrator for the Superior Court in Gila County recommends approving Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 071620 with DeBrigida Law Offices to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 for a not to exceed contract amount of $46,000.
