PURSUANT TO A.R.S. § 38-431.01, THE GILA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WILL HOLD A MEETING AT THE GILA COUNTY COURTHOUSE, BOARD OF SUPERVISORS’ HEARING ROOM, 1400 EAST ASH STREET, GLOBE, ARIZONA. ONE OR MORE BOARD MEMBERS MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE MEETING BY TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL OR BY INTERACTIVE TELEVISION VIDEO (ITV).  THE MEETING IS ALSO TELEVISED TO THE GILA COUNTY COMPLEX, BOARD OF SUPERVISORS' CONFERENCE ROOM, 610 E. HIGHWAY 260, PAYSON, ARIZONA. 

NOTE:  Per the most recent guidelines from the federal government regarding COVID-19 and to protect citizens, no citizens will be allowed in the Board of Supervisors' hearing room at the Globe Courthouse or at the County Complex, Board of Supervisors' conference room in Payson.  The only exception to this statement is for public hearings.  Citizens may attend the public hearing in person, one at a time, in Globe or in Payson to provide comments.

A.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve the actual monetary distribution of $1,078,003.33 of Gila County's share of Federal Year 2021 Secure Rural Schools Act funds as authorized through section 24 of P.L. 114-10 for FY 2019-2020 as follows: $23,284.22 to Roads, $840,172.41 to Schools, and $214,546.70 to Gila County Education Service Agency. B.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve Funding Agreement No. 213-21 between the Arizona Department of Housing and the Gila County Community Services Department, Housing Services, to provide Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons funding in the amount of $168,230 and Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program funding in the amount of $45,339 to be used to provide weatherization services to eligible citizens residing in Gila County for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. C.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve the Health and Emergency Management Department's submittal of a work plan and budget to receive additional COVID-19 funding in the amount of $725,797 for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024 that will be focused on vaccine equity activities. D.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve the grant application for Health Literacy Initiative funding in the amount of $2,571,740 with $1,750,000 dedicated to local organizations that serve underserved communities which will be used to address the COVID-19 pandemic in Gila County's underserved communities with anticipated dates of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023. E.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve the grant application for Health Disparities Initiative funding in the amount of $576,203 that will be used to address the COVID-19 pandemic in Gila County's underserved communities with anticipated dates of June 1, 2021 through May 31, 2023. F.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve the Gila County ELC Enhancing Detection Grant Application in the amount of $839,579 that will be used to continue to address the testing, disease investigation, and contact tracing efforts for the ongoing COVID-19 endemic with anticipated dates of January 1, 2021 through April 30, 2023. G.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (Contract No. CTR055209) with the Arizona Department of Health Services in the amount of $204,367 to enhance current public health emergency preparedness activities for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2026. H.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (Contract No. IGA2021-081) with the Arizona Department of Health Services to provide the Gila County Oral Health Cavity Free Program for the period of July 1, 2021 through May 31, 2026. (Michael O'Driscoll) Approved
 
I.   Information/Discussion/Action to authorize the advertisement of Request for Proposals No. 052420-Sub-grantee for COVID-19 School Wraparound Support Services and to accept the Gila County ELC School Reopening grant award in the amount of $828,927 for the period August 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022. (Michael O'Driscoll) Authorized
 
J.   Information/Discussion/Action to authorize the advertisement of Request for Sealed Proposals No. 05242021-Annual Newspaper Contract to solicit bids for an annual contract for all advertising, publications, and printing required to be done or made by all departments of Gila County government for the period July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. A.   Approval of Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 031319 with Arizona Planning and Paralegal Solutions to extend the term of the contract for one additional year from April 2, 2021 to April 1, 2022 in a not to exceed amount of $78,000 for the continued provision of a Senior Planner-Independent Contractor. Approved
 
B.   Approval of Arizona Criminal Justice Commission FY 2020 Drug, Gang and Crime Control Grant Agreement No. DC-20-023 in the amount of $66,567 for the period of July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. Approved
 
C.   Approval to appoint Ms. Cassie Waggoner and Ms. Sammi Jenkins to the Gila County Cooperative Extension Advisory Board to fulfill Mike Henderson's and Twila Cassadore's unexpired terms of office, respectively, which end on December 31, 2021. Approved
 
D.   Authorization for the Chairman to sign corrected Intergovernmental Agreement No. 012621 with the Town of Miami for the maintenance of Mackey Camp Road for one year effective after both parties have signed the Agreement and with up to three additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement of the parties. Authorized
 
E.   Approval of four Special Event Liquor License Applications submitted by the Pleasant Valley Community Council, Inc. to serve liquor at the Community Center in Young for special events to be held on the following dates, July 3, 2021, October 8-9, 2021, November 13, 2021 and December 11, 2021. Approved
 
F.   Approval of the Board of Supervisors' May 18, 2021 and May 25, 2021 meeting minutes. Approved

Therefore, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute §38-431.01(H), at the conclusion of an open call to the public, individual members of the Board of Supervisors may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Board, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda for further discussion and decision at a future date.
