Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) 9-1-1 Program Grant Agreement Amendment - Grant Number GFR-AZ-911-19-006T.

Background Information

In the original Text to 9-1-1 Grant Agreement, the Arizona State Office of Grants and Federal Resources agreed to provide funding for a period of 5 years with the initial performance period January 1, 2019 thru June 30, 2020.

Evaluation

This Grant Agreement Amendment extends the original provision for grant funding between July 1, 2020 thru June 30, 2025 and creates 5 performance periods.

Conclusion

The performance period of this grant amendment is July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, providing funding for text to 9-1-1 services to the Sheriff's Office and Payson Police Department Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs).

Recommendation

It is the recommendation of Sheriff J. Adam Shepherd that the Board of Supervisors approve Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) 9-1-1 Program Grant Agreement Amendment - Grant Number GFR-AZ-911-19-006T for the performance period of July 1, 2020 thru June 30, 2021.

Suggested Motion

Approval of an Amendment to 9-1-1 Program Grant Agreement No. GFR-AZ-911-19-006T between the Arizona Department of Administration and the Gila County Sheriff's Office to extend the agreement for 5 years, from July 1, 2020 thru June 30, 2025.
