FY 2021 Arizona 9-1-1 Program Grant Agreement No. ADOA-AZ911-21-004

Background Information

A grant application was submitted for FY 2021 funding on February 14, 2020 to the Arizona Department of Administration on behalf of the Gila 9-1-1 Network Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs). The grant application budget included amounts for contractual infrastructure and new projects for a total submission amount of $256,112.44.

Evaluation

On April 29, 2020, an award notification and grant agreement were received for 9-1-1 contractual support of infrastructure in the amount of $190,414 and administration support of $2,239 for a total award of $192,653. No new projects were awarded.

Conclusion

The final FY 2021 Gila 9-1-1 Network grant award total supports current contracted managed services infrastructure between July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 for the Sheriff's Office and Payson Police Department PSAPs.

Recommendation

It is the recommendation of Sheriff J. Adam Shepherd that the Board of Supervisors approve the FY 2021 Arizona 9-1-1 Program Grant Agreement No. ADOA-AZ911-21-004 in the amount of $192,653.

Information/Discussion/Action to approve FY 2021 Arizona 9-1-1 Program Grant Agreement No. ADOA-AZ911-21-0041 in the amount of $192,653 that is between the Arizona Department of Administration and the Gila County Sheriff's Office for the performance period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.
