Request/Subject

Review of FY 2023 Facilities Management Capital Project requests and 5-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).

Background Information

The Facilities Management Department has identified a number of various issues throughout the County with several buildings/infrastructure areas. These facilities provide essential services to the County. Facilities seek to review these issues as Capital Project requests for Fiscal Year 2023 and to include a review of Facilities 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan.

Evaluation

Facilities Director will present the Capital Projects request for FY 2023 and the 5-year CIP to include estimated costs for each project. The CIP is a high level list of projects that Facilities would like to undertake in FY 2023 and to include in the 5-year CIP.

Conclusion

It would be beneficial for the Board of Supervisors to review FY 2023 Capital Projects request and the projects contained in the Facilities 5-year CIP. Facilities look forward to presenting and prioritizing these projects in collaboration with the Board of Supervisors.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors is presented with information on Facilities Management Capital Projects request for FY 2023 and presented with an update on Facilities 5-year CIP.

Suggested Motion

Information/Discussion regarding a list of potential capital projects to be included in the Facilities Management Department's FY 2023 Capital Improvement Plan and the Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan. (Joseph Dickison)
