Agreement No. 37071900317-001 between Gila County and Freeport-McMoRan Miami Inc. for Sheriff's Office Employee Services.

Background Information

Freeport-McMoRan Miami Inc. has requested police related services and security services from the Gila County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff and Freeport wish to formalize this arrangement and compensation in the form of a written agreement.

Evaluation

The Gila County Sheriff's Office has reviewed the request and approves the agreement and compensation for police related and security services. This is a two-year agreement that will commence on April 28, 2020.

Conclusion

The Sheriff's Office through this agreement will be able to provide police related support and security when requested by Freeport-McMoRan Miami Inc. and be compensated appropriately for the services.

Recommendation

Staff recommends approval.
