Public Works Department Policy No. PWS-016 - Regulations of Signs within County Right-of-Way which replaces Policy No. DPW 04-17 - Regulations of Signs within County Right-of-Way.

Background Information

Public Works Department Policy No. DPW 04-17 – Regulations of Signs within County Right-of-Way was originally approved by the Board of Supervisors on November 16, 2004.

Evaluation

Verbiage changes and additions were made to the policy. The format of the policy has been updated to the format used for all Countywide policies adopted by the Board of Supervisors. The policy number is being changed according to the table of contents for the Countywide policies as adopted by the Board of Supervisors.

Conclusion

The proposed revisions address the changes and additions to the verbiage, the document format, and policy number.

Recommendation

The Gila County Public Works Department Director recommends the Board of Supervisors' adoption of Public Works Department Policy No. PWS-016 - Regulations of Signs within County Right-of-Way which replaces Public Works Department Policy No. DPW 04-17.

Approval to adopt Public Works Department (PWD) Policy No. PWS-016 - Regulations of Signs within County Right-of-Way which replaces PWD Policy No. DPW04-17.
