| Approval to advertise Request for Proposals No. 110514 for Janitorial Services for Southern Gila County. |
| Background Information |
Previously, Gila County hired a contractor to perform the evening custodial duties, five nights a week, for various locations in southern Gila County. The prior contract was issued on September 18, 2012, and it allowed for three additional one-year extensions after the September 17, 2013, expiration date.
On October 22, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Amendment No. 1 which served to extend the contract term for a one-year period, from September 18, 2013, to September 17, 2014. On September 17, 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved Amendment No. 2, which served to extend the contract term for a six-month period, from September 18, 2014, to March 17, 2015. On February 10, 2015, the Board of Supervisors approved Amendment No. 3, which extended the contract term for three months, from March 18, 2015, to May 17, 2015.
The current contract will expire on May 17, 2015. |
| Evaluation |
| The advertisement of Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 110514 will allow contractors the opportunity to submit proposals for Gila County's consideration for the janitorial services at various locations in southern Gila County. If authorized by the Board of Supervisors, the advertisement will run in the March 25, 2015, and April 1, 2015, editions of the Arizona Silver Belt. Proposals will be due on April 8, 2015, by 11:00 A.M./M.S.T. with an award date of May 5, 2015. |
