Approval of Service Agreement No. 122622 with BMS CAT of Arizona-General Contractor.

Background Information

It is the intent of this solicitation to have this general contractor approved to work on the rehabilitation of Gila County citizens' homes. The contractor will provide cleaning, concrete & asphalt, general demolition, doors, drywall, floor covering, carpentry/trim work, hardware, framing & rough carpentry, heat, vent & air conditioning, light fixtures, plumbing, painting, roof, soffit, fascia, gutter, and windows.

Evaluation

Home grants to rehabilitate citizens' homes and bring them up to the housing code is the purpose of hiring a general contractor approved to complete this work.

Conclusion

Community Services would like to contract with BMS CAT of Arizona to provide weatherization and rehabilitation services to Gila County's citizens.

Recommendation

The Community Services Department Director recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve Service Agreement No. 122622 with BMS CAT of Arizona-General Contractor for an amount not to exceed $75,980.81 to March 15, 2023.
