Request/Subject

Amendment No. 2 to a Funding Agreement (Contract No. 221-18)between the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) and the Gila County Community Services Department, Housing Services.

Background Information

Contract No. 221-18 was approved by the Gila County Board of Supervisors on June 19, 2018.

Due to an internal adjustment at ADOH prior to receipt of the original contract, there is no Amendment No. 1 so that ADOH can maintain their numbering.

Evaluation

Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 221-18 will increase the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program funding amount by $1,370 in Administrative Funds and $15,432 in Project Funds for a total increase of $16,802.

Conclusion

By the Board of Supervisors approving this amendment, the Gila County Community Services Department, Housing Services, will receive additional funding to provide weatherization services to eligible citizens residing in Gila County.

Recommendation

The Community Services Department Director recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve this amendment in order to provide additional weatherization services to eligible citizens residing in Gila County.

Suggested Motion

Approval of Amendment No. 2 to a Funding Agreement (Contract No. 221-18) between the Arizona Department of Housing and the Gila County Community Services Department, Housing Services, to increase Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program funding in the amount of $16,802 to be used to provide weatherization services to eligible citizens residing in Gila County for the period of July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019.
