A.   Information/Discussion/Action to adopt Proclamation No. 2017-06 proclaiming October 2017 as "Domestic Violence Awareness Month" in Gila County.  (Carolyn Gillis) Adopted
 
B.   Information/Discussion/Action to enter a Property Lease Agreement between Payson Plaza, LLC and Gila County for 15,188 square feet of space in the Payson Plaza at 307 S. Beeline Highway in Payson for Gila County Courts for five years beginning October 11, 2017 through October 10, 2022, for an annual contract amount in the first year of $136,554.47 with an increase of 3% at each anniversary. C.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve an Agreement-Economic Development Grant No. 080317 between Gila County and Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens Area Agency on Aging whereby the County will disburse up to $150,000; and, further, the Board determines this is for the benefit of the public and will improve or enhance the economic welfare of the inhabitants of Gila County.  (James Menlove) Approved
 
D.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve Intergovernmental Agreement No. 081517 between Gila County (County) and the Gila County Community College District (Provisional) (College) for the County to provide $250,000 in four quarterly payments of $62,500 to the College for utility expenses and repair and maintenance of the facilities and real property at its Globe and Payson campuses commencing July 1, 2017, and ending June 30, 2018.  (James Menlove) Approved
 
E.   Information/Discussion/Action to authorize the advertisement of Request for Proposals No. 082817 to provide janitorial services at various County facilities that are located in northern Gila County.  (James Menlove/Steve Sanders) Authorized
 
F.   Information/Discussion/Action to authorize the advertisement of Invitation for Bids No. 091817 for the purchase of one pre-owned, 2500 gallon water truck to be used at the Buckhead Mesa Landfill. (James Menlove/Steve Sanders) Authorized
 
G.   Information/Discussion/Action to authorize the Gila County Community Services Division, Housing Services, to submit an application to the Arizona Department of Housing for HOME Investment Partnership Program funds and State Housing Fund funds in the amount of $275,000 to be utilized for housing rehabilitation for fiscal year 2017/2018, and to adopt related Resolution Nos. 17-10-02 and 17-10-03 , which are included as part of the application.  (Malissa Buzan) Authorized
 
H.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve the sale of Assessor's tax parcel numbers 302-34-004Q and 201-06-183C to Gila County for $1 each and the sale of Assessor's parcel number 304-04-211K to the Town of Payson for $1, all of which will be used for a public purpose related to transportation or flood control; authorize the Chairman's signature on the related Quit Claim Deeds; and remove said parcels from the list of properties to be sold at the Board of Supervisors' upcoming property tax sale/auction.  (Marian Sheppard) Approved

A.   Approval of Amendment No. 5 to Professional Services Contract No. 040815 with Raymond Geiser to increase the contract amount by $3,000 for a total contract amount not to exceed $145,643 for the contract term of July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2018. Approved
 
B.   Approval of Professional Services Contract No. 090817 with the Law Office of Steven Jones, not to exceed amount of $40,650 to provide professional legal defense services for the Superior Court in Gila County for the period November 1, 2017, to June 30, 2018. Approved
 
C.   Approval of Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 032216-1 with Susan Kay Byrum to amend Article 1- Scope of Services: Contractor's fees. Approved
 
D.   Approval of Amendment No. 7 to Professional Services Contract No. 071415 with Samantha Elledge to increase the contract amount by $1,000 for a not to exceed total contract amount of $53,400 without prior written authorization from the County; and to add some additional language to the contract. Approved
 
E.   Approval of Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Contract No. 101116-1 with Collins & Collins, Attorneys at Law, to increase the contract amount by $800 for a total contract amount of $7,800; and add some additional language to the contract. Approved
 
F.   Approval of Amendment No. 4 to Request for Qualified Vendor Agreement No. DDD 710000 between the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and Gila County d/b/a Gila County Employment and Special Training Department to allow for the continued provision of DDD services to eligible residents of Gila County, and remain in compliance with federal and state regulations and provisions of the Qualified Vendor Agreement. Approved
 
G.   Approval of Amendment No. 4 to Contract No. 014-0444 between Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens (PGCSC), Area Agency on Aging, Region V, and the Gila County Community Services Division, Housing Services, whereby PGCSC will provide funding in the amount of $6,242 to be used for emergency minor home repair to eligible citizens residing in Gila County effective October 10, 2017, through June 30, 2018.  Approved
 
H.   Approval of Amendment No. 1 to an Intergovernmental Agreement (Contract No. ADHS17-171368) between the Gila County Division of Health and Emergency Management and the Arizona Department of Health Services to change the contract number to ADHS18-175354. Approved
 
I.   Approval of Amendment No. One to an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the Town of Payson and Gila County to provide centralized dispatch services to the Gila County Sheriff's Office in the amount of $290,272 for one year effective when the IGA has been fully executed by both parties, and with the option to renew the agreement for one additional one-year period. Approved
 
J.   Approval to appoint Jim Dooley to the Gila County Building Safety Advisory and Appeals Board to fulfill the unexpired term of office previously held by Mike Hanich for the period October 10, 2017, through December 31, 2019. Approved
 
K.   Approval of a Special Event Liquor License Application submitted by the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center Foundation of Globe, Arizona, to serve liquor on November 3, 2017, at their fundraiser. Approved
 
L.   Acknowledgment of the August 2017 monthly activity report submitted by the Payson Regional Constable's Office. Acknowledged
