Adoption of Resolution No. 20-08-02 authorizing the disposal of a portion of Fulton Avenue, Central Avenue, and an alley in Block 11 all on the Map of South Globe, Plat Map No. 20, Gila County Records and the Chairman's signature on the Quit Claim Deeds deeding a portion of Fulton Avenue, Central Avenue, and an alley in Block 11 to Beverly Dalmolin Tomerlin and Mark A. and Roberta Shellenberger.

Background Information

During the regular meeting of the Gila County Board of Supervisors held on July 14, 2020, the Board accepted a bid in the amount of $2,322 from Beverly Dalmolin Tomerlin and a bid in the amount of $661 from Mark A. and Roberta Shellenberger for the purchase of a portion of Fulton Avenue, Central Avenue, and an alley in Block 11, Map of South Globe, Plat Map No. 20.

Evaluation

The bidders have met all the requirements of the current Gila County policy on the purchase of roadways and alleys in Gila County.

Conclusion

The next and final step in the process is for the Board of Supervisors to adopt a resolution which authorizes the disposal of a portion of Fulton Avenue, Central Avenue, and an alley in Block 11, Map of South Globe, Plat Map No. 20 Gila County Records, Gila County, Arizona, and the Chairman's signature on the Quit Claim Deeds deeding the roadways and alley to Beverly Dalmolin Tomerlin and Mark A. and Roberta Shellenberger.

Recommendation

It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department Director that the Board of Supervisors adopt Resolution No. 20-08-02.

Information/Discussion/Action to adopt Resolution No. 20-08-02 authorizing the disposal of a portion of Fulton Avenue, Central Avenue, and an alley in Block 11, Map of South Globe, Plat Map No. 20 Gila County Records; and authorizing the Board of Supervisors' Chairman to execute and deliver in the name and under the seal of the County of Gila, Quit Claim Deeds conveying a portion of Fulton Avenue, Central Avenue, and an alley in Block 11 to Beverly Dalmolin Tomerlin and Mark A. and Roberta Shellenberger.
