Public Sale of portions of Holly Drive on the White Oaks Glen Official Map No. 346, Gila County Records. White Oaks Glen is in the community of Pine.
Background Information
On April 2, 2019, during a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors, the Board directed staff to begin the process to vacate Holly Drive. Staff began the necessary notifications and public postings of the Board's decision.

White Oaks Glen was recorded in 1967. The portion of Holly Drive being considered for abandonment has been improved by Mr. Bennett. The road does not provide access to anyone other than the Bennetts and their family. There are two (2) adjacent owners along Holly Drive. Both landowners have been contacted and given the option to exercise preference rights before the proposed date of sale or appear at the public sale and submit a bid for the portion adjacent to their property. The adjacent landowners have submitted bids for portions of Holly Drive that adjoins their property. The bids meet the minimum requirement established by the current Gila County policy on abandonment of roadways in Gila County.
Evaluation
Abandoning the portions of Holly Drive will not deny anyone access to their property.
Conclusion
It is the best interest of all involved to abandon portions of the road.
Recommendation
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department Director that the Board of Supervisors accept a bid from Covenant Interests Investments LLC in the amount of $4,293 and a bid in the amount of $2,065 from White Oaks Glen. LLC for Holly Drive adjacent to their respective property.

Information/Discussion/Action for the Public Sale of portions of Holly Drive both on the White Oaks Glen, Official Map No. 346 Gila County Records, Gila County, AZ in the amount of $4,293 from Covenant Interests Investments LLC and $2,065 from White Oaks Glen LLC for Holly Drive adjacent to their respective property.
