Various Attorney Contracts for the Superior Court.
Background Information
Each year the Superior Court in Gila County retains various attorneys to provide professional legal services, such as representation for indigent citizens in the categories of felony and misdemeanor criminal actions, delinquency, dependency, and mental health cases, as well as mediation services. 

At the June 09, 2015, Board of Supervisors' meeting, the Board approved the contracts (attached) for all of the attorneys with the exception of the following attorney's: Samantha Elledge's contract was awarded on July 29, 2015, at such time when it was presented to the Board; Law Offices of Barry Standifird's contract was awarded on June 7, 2015, at such time when it was presented to the Board; Steven E. Burk's contract was awarded on November 17, 2015, at such time when it was presented to the Board; and Timothy V. Nelson's contract was awarded on July 7, 2015, at such time when it was presented to the Board.
Evaluation
The Professional Services Contracts for various attorneys utilized annually by the Superior Court in Gila County will expire on June 30, 2018.  New contracts have been issued, with a contract term commencing on July 1, 2018, and expiring on June 30, 2019, with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods.
Conclusion
Court staff wishes to execute new contracts with the attorneys utilized by the Superior Court of Gila County to replace the contracts that will expire on June 30, 2018.
Recommendation
The Court Administrator for the Superior Court in Gila County recommends the Board of Supervisors' approval of the attached Professional Services Contracts with the various attorneys, which the Court utilizes on an annual basis.
Suggested Motion
Approval of the following Professional Services Contracts to retain the services of attorneys for the period of July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019; all of whom assist the Superior Court in Gila County as public defenders on an annual basis:  050718-Carolyn Clark of Flores & Clark, LLC; 050718-3-Emily Danies, Attorney at Law, LLC; 052218-1-Anna C. Ortiz; 052318-Michael Freeman; 051418-Law Offices of Samantha Sue Elledge, PLLC; 052318-1-Timothy V. Nelson; 052118-1Steven E. Burk; 052318-2-Law Office of Jonathan Warshaw; 052318-3-Debrigida Law Offices; 052118-2-Law Offices of Barry Standifird; 051518-Raymond Geiser; 050718-2-David W. Bell; and 050718-4-Michael B. Bernays.
