Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 090817 - Law Offices of Steven Jones.

Background Information

On October 10, 2017, the Board of Supervisors approved Professional Services Contract No. 090817 with the Law Offices of Stephen Jones, whereby Stephen Jones will provide legal services for indigent citizens as appointed by the Superior Court in Gila County for the period beginning November 1, 2017, to June 30, 2018. The original contract was executed for a not to exceed without written authorization amount of $40,650.

Evaluation

Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 090817 extends the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019.

Conclusion

Court Administration wishes to execute Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 090817 with Steven Jones to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019.

Recommendation

It is the recommendation of Court Administrator Jonathan Bearup to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019.

Suggested Motion

Approval of Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 101116-1 with the Law Offices of Stephen Jones to extend the term of the contract for one additional year, from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019.
