Information
Request/Subject
Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum (BPCCM) 2014 Annual Report and 2015 Economic Development Grant Funding Request
Background Information
Each year, the Board of Supervisors considers requests submitted by non-profit entities (community agencies), cities, town and other governmental agencies in Gila County to perform economic development services and activities.

For the past several years, the Board of Supervisors has provided an economic development grant to the BPCCM upon receiving a presentation of BPCCM's annual report and update on its activities.  The most recent economic development grants awarded to BPCCM are as follows:
September 18, 2012, for $25,000
June 25, 2013, for $25,000
September 16, 2014 for $10,000

These funds have allowed BPCCM to make infrastructure improvements, expand its Museum displays, improve its research capabilities offered to the public and improve virtual and audio/video presentations.
Evaluation
Jose (Joe) M. Sanchez, President of the BPCCM Board of Directors, has submitted a letter to the Board of Supervisors requesting to present an update of BPCCMs activities during the past year, and to present a 2015 funding request in the amount of $10,000 to be considered by the Board.
Conclusion
BPCCM will be making a presentation to the Board of Supervisors on July 7, 2015.
