Contract Award for Bid No. 021218 - Primary Banking Service

Background Information

Invitation for Proposals No. 021218 for Primary Banking Service for the County Treasurer was advertised in the Payson Roundup on February 27, 2018, and March 06, 2018. Proposals were opened in a public setting on May 4, 2018.

Evaluation

Pursuant to the provisions of A.R.S. § 35-323, the Board of Deposit of Gila County did a call for bids to qualified banks to perform the duties of the Gila County Servicing Bank for the period of July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2021, with the option to extend until June 30, 2023.

Conclusion

The Purchasing Department received 2 proposals from qualified banks. All proposals were reviewed in detail concerning specifications and cost by a 6 member evaluation team.

Recommendation

After extensive review of submitted proposals, the Gila County Treasurer recommends that the Board of Supervisors award a contract in response to Request for Proposals No. 021218 for Primary Banking Service to JP Morgan Chase Bank for a term of 36 months with the option to renew for 2 additional 12-month terms.

Suggested Motion

(Motion to adjourn as the Gila County Board of Supervisors and convene as the Gila County Board of Deposit.) Information/Discussion/Action to review all bids submitted for Request for Proposals No. 021218 Primary Banking Service for the Gila County Treasurer; award to the lowest, responsible and qualified bidder; and authorize the Chairman's signature on the contract for the winning bidder.
