PURSUANT TO A.R.S. §38-431.01, THE GILA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WILL HOLD AN OPEN MEETING IN THE SUPERVISORS’ HEARING ROOM, 1400 EAST ASH STREET, GLOBE, ARIZONA. ONE OR MORE BOARD MEMBERS MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE MEETING BY TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL OR BY INTERACTIVE TELEVISION VIDEO (ITV). B.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve the Superior Court's Fiscal Year 2019 Field Trainer Grant Application in the amount of $25,000. (Jon Bearup) Approved
 
C.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve a Lease Agreement between Payson Unified School District (PUSD) and the Gila County Community Services Division, Gila Employment and Special Training Program, whereby the PUSD will lease a building at 501 S. McLane, Payson, Arizona, to Gila County at a cost of $500 per month for use as an adult day treatment center to provide services to clients enrolled in the Arizona Department of Developmental Disabilities Program, effective July 1, 2018, through June 1, 2019. D.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve an Amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) which pertains to post-secondary educational services in Gila County that is between Gila County Community College District (Provisional); Gila County; and Graham County Community College District d/b/a Eastern Arizona College to extend the term of the IGA to December 30, 2018. (James Menlove) Approved
 
E.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve Amendment #1 to the Escrow Agreement between Gila County; Terry Gorton acting as agent for both Javelina Sky Development LLC and Woodshire at Elk Rim LLC; and Pioneer Title Agency for the proposed Elk Rim Subdivision. (James Menlove) Approved
 
F.   Information/Discussion/Action to consider a sealed bid for the purchase of Assessor's tax parcel number 101-10-014E and, if accepted, authorize the Chairman's signature on the Quit Claim Deed. (Marian Sheppard) Accepted Bid
 
G.   Information/Discussion/Action to consider a sealed bid for the purchase of Assessor's tax parcel number 101-10-030B and, if accepted, authorize the Chairman's signature on the Quit Claim Deed. (Marian Sheppard) Accepted Bid
 
H.   Information/Discussion/Action to adopt the Brand Strategy which includes "Explore the Wild - Discover Gila County" as the words as well as approve Attachment A which is the graphic presentation of this logo to be used in the Marketing Plan for Gila County. (Jacque Sanders) Adopted
 
5.   CONSENT AGENDA ACTION ITEMS:  (Any matter on the Consent Agenda will be removed from the Consent Agenda and discussed and voted upon as a regular agenda item upon the request of any member of the Board of Supervisors.)
 
A.   Approval to adopt Resolution No. 18-06-01 authorizing Gila County Probation Department's participation in the FY 2018-2019 Family Counseling Program through the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts, Juvenile Justice Services Division, and certifying that a matching fund requirement of $1,954 for the Program will be provided by the County. Approved
 
B.   Approval of Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 042417 to extend the contract term with Southern Counties Oil Company in the amount of $750,000 to provide bulk fuel and lubricants at various Gila County locations from June 20, 2018, to June 19, 2019; and authorize the Chairman's signature on the Amendment. Approved
 
C.   Approval of an Application for Extension of Premises/Patio Permit submitted by Katie Lynn Parks to temporarily extend the premises where liquor is permitted to be served at Bandits Restaurant located in Strawberry for a special event to be held on June 30, 2018. Approved
 
D.   Approval of a Special Event Liquor License Application submitted by the Isabelle Hunt Memorial Public Library for a fundraising event to be held on October 20, 2018, at the Library in Pine. Approved
 
E.   Acknowledgment of the April 2018 monthly activity report submitted by the Clerk of the Superior Court's Office. Acknowledged
 
F.   Acknowledgement of the April 2018 monthly activity report submitted by the Recorder's Office. Acknowledged
 
G.   Acknowledgment of the April 2018 monthly activity report submitted by the Globe Regional Justice of the Peace's Office. Acknowledged
 
H.   Acknowledgement of the April 2018 monthly activity report submitted by the Payson Regional Justice of the Peace's Office. Acknowledged

6.   EXECUTIVE SESSION ITEMS:
 
A.   Information/Discussion/Action to consider voting to go into executive session for the purpose of discussion or consultation with its attorney or attorneys in order to consider its position (regarding the liquor license application of Robert K. Mitchell through Below the Rim Meadery) and instruct its attorneys regarding its position regarding pending or contemplated litigation or in settlement discussions conducted in order to avoid or resolve litigation and for discussion or consultation for legal advise with its attorneys under A.R.S. Section 38-431.03(3) and (4). (Jeff Dalton) Directed Attorney
 
B.   Information/Discussion/Action: Vote to go into executive session pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3) and (4) to discuss and consult with its attorneys regarding RIVERS EDGE PAYSON, LLC v. GILA COUNTY No. CV201800044 pertaining to Resolution No. 18-02-02, for discussion and consultation with its attorneys in order to consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding its position regarding pending or contemplated litigation or in settlement discussions conducted in order to avoid or resolve the litigation, and for discussion or consultation for legal advice with its attorneys, and after the regular meeting has been reconvened, move to direct its attorneys to proceed as directed in the executive session regarding this agenda item. 7.   CALL TO THE PUBLIC:  Call to the Public is held for public benefit to allow individuals to address the Board of Supervisors on any issue within the jurisdiction of the Board of Supervisors. Board members may not discuss items that are not specifically identified on the agenda. Therefore, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute §38-431.01(H), at the conclusion of an open call to the public, individual members of the Board of Supervisors may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Board, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda for further discussion and decision at a future date. 8.   At any time during this meeting pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02(K), members of the Board of Supervisors and the County Manager may present a brief summary of current events.  No action may be taken on information presented.
