Thomson Reuters License Agreement for West Proflex subscription plan for Gila County Attorney's Office.

Background Information

The Gila County Attorney's Office currently uses Thomson Reuters for legal research and has been contracted with them for several years.

Evaluation

The West Proflex will help get faster answers and direct the County Attorney's Office in the correct legal research it needs in order to work efficiently. It provides a central location for statutes that have changed over time as well as up to date legal decisions and opinions.

Conclusion

Thomson Reuters provides the Gila County Attorneys' Office the ability to do legal research.

Recommendation

The Gila County Attorney's Office recommends approving the three-year license agreement with Thomson Reuters West Proflex at a monthly cost of $2,391.92 with a 3% annual increase.

Suggested Motion

Information/Discussion/Action to approve a three-year License Agreement between the Gila County Attorney's Office and Thomson Reuters for a West Proflex subscription plan for legal research from May 1, 2019, through April 30, 2022, at a cost of $2,391.92 per month with a 3% annual increase.
