Interviews for the position of County Manager.

Background Information

County Manager John F. Nelson has submitted his notice of resignation effective June 30, 2017. The County Manager position was posted on March 9, 2017, and it was advertised in various Arizona newspapers and professional organizations. Since that time, the Human Resources (H.R.) Department has been reviewing the applications.

Evaluation

The H.R. Department has reviewed all applications submitted for the County Manager position and subsequent interviews are being scheduled for those individuals who meet the required qualifications.

Conclusion

The Board of Supervisors would like to interview the final candidates for the County Manager position.

Interviews for the position of County Manager. Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.01 (A)(1), the Board of Supervisors may vote to go into executive session for the discussion or consideration of appointment of a public officer, appointee or employee of the public body.
