Adoption of Resolution No. 16-05-01 authorizing the disposal of unnecessary public roadways being portions of Blake, Coplen and Hobart Streets and the Chairman's signature on the Quit Claim Deed deeding those roadways to Ronald and Chrisanna Attaway, Trustees of the Ronald E. and Chrisanna L. Attaway Living Trust.

Background Information

During the regular meeting of the Gila County Board of Supervisors held on April 5, 2016, the Board accepted a bid in the amount of $243.00 from Ronald and Chrisanna Attaway for the purchase of a portion of Blake, Coplen and Hobart Streets in Arlington Heights, Official Map No. 31, Gila County Records.

Evaluation

The bidders have met all the requirements of the current Gila County policy on abandonment of roadways in Gila County.

Conclusion

The next and final step in the process is for the Board of Supervisors to adopt a resolution which authorizes the disposal of portions of Blake, Coplen and Hobart Streets, and the Chairman's signature on the Quit Claim Deed deeding the abandoned roadway Ronald and Chrisanna Attaway, Trustees of the Ronald E. and Chrisanna L. Attaway Living Trust.

Recommendation

It is the recommendation of the Public Works Division Director that the Board of Supervisors adopt Resolution No. 16-05-01.
