Adoption of Resolution No. 16-04-02 authorizing the disposal of a portion of W. Cocopah Lane, which is an unnecessary public roadway, and authorizing the Chairman to sign the Quit Claim Deed deeding a portion of W. Cocopah Lane to Janet Mielke.
Background Information
During the regular meeting of the Gila County Board of Supervisors held on March 15, 2016, the Board accepted a bid in the amount of $52 from Janet Mielke for the purchase of a portion of W. Cocopah Lane located in Geronimo Estates Unit One, Payson.
Evaluation
The bidder has met all the requirements of the current Gila County policy on abandonment of roadways in Gila County.
Conclusion
The next and final step in the process is for the Board of Supervisors to adopt a resolution which authorizes the disposal of a portion of W. Cocopah Lane, and the Chairman's signature on the Quit Claim Deed deeding the abandoned roadway to Janet Mielke.
Recommendation
It is the recommendation of the Public Works Division Director that the Board of Supervisors adopt Resolution No. 16-04-02.

Information/Discussion/Action to adopt Resolution 16-04-02 authorizing the disposal of an unnecessary public roadway being a portion of W. Cocopah Lane, Geronimo Estates Unit One in Payson, Official Map No. 241, Gila County Records; and the Board of Supervisors' Chairman to execute and deliver in the name and under the seal of the County of Gila, a Quit Claim Deed conveying the abandoned roadway to Janet Mielke.  (Steve Sanders
