| Background Information |
| On April 27, 2017, the County Manager approved Professional Services Contract 032216-1 with Susan Kay Byrum, whereby Susan Kay Byrum agreed to provide Court Reporting for the Superior Court in Gila County. The contract was issued for a period of one year in a not to exceed amount of $48,000 without prior written approval from Gila County for the contract term ending March 31, 2017. Additionally the contract allows for the option to renew the contract term for two additional one-year periods. |

Court Administration has requested an increase to Professional Services Contract No. 032216-1 with Susan Kay Byrum in the amount of $22,900 to ensure that adequate funds are available to cover the contract term from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017; Court Reporter Susan Kay Byrum has exceeded the contract amount of $48,000.
Professional Services Contract No. 032216-1 will expire on March 31, 2017. Court Administration would like to extend the contract term from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, with a not to exceed contract amount of $70,900.
Amendment No. 1 has been issued to increase the contract amount by an additional $22,900.00 for an amended contract amount of $70,900 to cover the contract term from April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2016.
Additionally Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Contract No. 032216-1 with Susan Kay Byrum will serve to extend the contract term for an additional one-year period, from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, with a not to exceed contract amount of $70,900. |
