Background Information
FEMA has begun to help Gila County to eventually update flood maps so that County residents can have more accurate flood hazard information.  The next part of the process is called the "discovery process" where FEMA staff meet and listen to the needs and concerns of Gila county, municipalities, and other interested stakeholders. FEMA Region IX staff wish to explain the next steps of the process to the Board of Supervisors and answer any questions the Board of Supervisors may have.
