Agreement between Gila County (dba Gila/Pinal Workforce Investment Board) and Portable Practical Educational Preparation, Inc. (PPEP).

Background Information

The purpose of this Agreement is to provide the required One-Stop services outlined in the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. As a mandated partner in the One-Stop Delivery System, Portable Practical Educational Preparation, Inc. will be provided the necessary office space to perform work duties.

Evaluation

Portable Practical Educational Preparation, Inc., will reimburse Gila County (dba Gila/Pinal Workforce Investment Board) for its share of the costs associated with co-locating at the Pinal County Comprehensive One-Stop Center as per breakdown in the Resource Agreement. Office work space is 100 sq. feet and common space is 184 sq. feet. Total annual cost is $5,964.

Conclusion

The Agreement between Gila County and Portable Practical Educational Preparation, Inc. for office space and common area space is to perform work duties at the Pinal County Comprehensive One-Stop Center in Casa Grande.

Recommendation

The Workforce Investment Board (WIB) Program Manager is recommending that the Gila County Board of Supervisors approve the Agreement between Gila County (dba Gila/Pinal Workforce Investment Board) and Portable Practical Educational Preparation, Inc. for work space at the Pinal County Comprehensive One-Stop Center in Casa Grande in the amount of $5,964 per year.

Suggested Motion

Approval of an Agreement between Gila County (dba Gila/Pinal Workforce Investment Board) and Portable Practical Educational Preparation, Inc. (PPEP) whereby Gila County will provide PPEP with work space at the Pinal County Comprehensive One-Stop Center in Casa Grande in the amount of $5,964 per year for the period September 1, 2012, through June 30, 2014.
