Gila County Personnel Commission Reappointments

Background Information

Jaime Escobedo's and Lori Andrade's terms of office on the Gila County Personnel Commission will expire on December 31, 2019. They both were asked and have agreed to serve another term of office which is four years.

Evaluation

Mr. Escobedo and Ms. Andrade have agreed to serve another 4-year term of office on the Commission for the term that will begin on January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2023.

Conclusion

The Board of Supervisors is the statutory appointing authority that appoints members to the Commission, so it is being requested of the Board to reappoint Mr. Escobedo and Ms. Andrade.

Recommendation

Shelley McPherson, Human Resources Director, is requesting that the Board of Supervisors reappoint Mr. Escobedo and Ms. Andrade to the Commission as she is the Staff Liaison for the Commission.

Suggested Motion

Approval to reappoint Jaime Escobedo and Lori Andrade as a governing board member of the Gila County Personnel Commission for the term beginning January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2023.
