Request/Subject

Adopt Resolution No. 19-12-03 to reduce the speed limit from 30 M.P.H. to 25 M.P.H. on Russell Road between the intersection of Roberts Drive and Pinal Canyon Drive.

Background Information

This portion of Russell Road is currently posted at 30 M.P.H. Russell Road on both sides of this area is posted at 25 M.P.H.

Evaluation

Traffic studies and accident data has been collected on this portion of Russell Road.

Conclusion

As a result of the information and residential location of the road along with the numerous private driveways that residents use to access their homes, the County Engineer has recommended reducing the speed to 25 M.P.H on this section of Russell Road.

Recommendation

It is the recommendation of the County Engineer to reduce the speed limit on this section of Russell Road from 30 M.P.H. to 25 M.P.H.
