Information
Request/Subject
Adopt Resolution No. 19-12-02 designating Desert Shadows Drive in Dripping Springs as a primitive road.
Background Information
Gila County Public Works received a Citizens Petition to establish Desert Shadows Drive (from Roundup Drive to the end of the road) as a primitive road. The road is located in the community of Dripping Springs.
Evaluation
The petition and the grant of easement meet the requirements of Policy No. PWS-001-Guidelines to Primitive Roads which replaced Policy No. ENG03-03 and was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on February 19, 2019.
Conclusion
Acceptance of this primitive road easement will not reduce the level of service to other roads in the Gila County Maintained Roadway System.
Recommendation
The Public Works Department Director and the County Engineer recommend that the Board adopt Resolution No. 19-12-02 accepting the grant of a primitive road easement for Desert Shadows Drive (from Roundup Drive to the end of the road) in the community of Dripping Springs.
Suggested Motion
Information/Discussion/Action to adopt Resolution No. 19-12-02 accepting the grant of primitive road easement for Desert Shadows Drive (from Roundup Drive to the end of the road) in the community of Dripping Springs and authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to sign the Primitive Road Easement.
