Appointment to the Gila County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors

Background Information

The Industrial Development Authority of the County of Gila, Arizona (IDA) is comprised of 9 members. Each Supervisor recommends to the Board of Supervisors the names of three members who they would like to represent their specific Supervisorial District on the IDA Board, and the Board of Supervisors then votes on the appointment(s). The terms of office for IDA members is six years.

Trena Grantham recently resigned from the IDA Board, and she represented Supervisorial District 3, Supervisor Woody Cline's District. Supervisor Cline would like Jill Wilson to fulfill Ms. Grantham's unexpired term of office through December 31, 2022.

Evaluation

Notification has been provided by Supervisor Cline that Jill Wilson has agreed to serve on this Board.

Conclusion

Supervisor Cline recommends the appointment of Jill Wilson to the IDA Board of Directors to fulfill Trena Grantham's unexpired term of office. Ms. Wilson's term will begin on the date she is appointed by the Board of Supervisors (December 4, 2018) through December 31, 2022.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors appoint Ms. Wilson to the IDA Board of Directors.

Suggested Motion

Approval to appoint Jill Wilson to the Board of Directors of The Industrial Development Authority of the County of Gila, Arizona, to fulfill Trena Grantham's unexpired term of office which ends on December 31, 2022.
