Election of a Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the Board of Supervisors

Background Information

On January 22, 2013, the Board of Supervisors elected Supervisor Mike Pastor to serve as its Chairman and Supervisor Tommie Martin to serve as its Vice-Chairman.

Evaluation

During the November 2016 General Election, two new Supervisors were elected to the Board of Supervisors. The new Board will consist of incumbent member Tommie Martin, and newly elected members Tim Humphrey and Woody Cline.

Conclusion

It is appropriate for the Board to elect a Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Supervisors.
