Gila County Building Safety Advisory and Appeals Board Member Reappointment

Background Information

The Board of Supervisors appointed Walter Del Campo, an electrical contractor, to the Gila County Building Safety Advisory and Appeals Board on June 25, 2016,. His term of office is due to expire okn December 31, 2016. Scott Buzan, Chief Building Official of the Gila County Community Development Division, has informed the Clerk of the Board that Mr. Del Campo has agreed to serve another 4-year term on this board.

Evaluation

It would be beneficial to Gila County for the Board of Supervisors to reappoint Mr. Del Campo to the Gila County Building Safety Advisory and Appeals Board.

Conclusion

The Board of Supervisors has the responsibility to appoint members to this governing board; therefore, the Board should consider reappointing Mr. Del Campo to Gila County Building Safety Advisory and Appeals Board for another 4-year term of office.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors consider reappointing Mr. Del Campo to the Gila County Building Safety Advisory and Appeals Board for another four years.

Suggested Motion

Approval to reappoint Walter Del Campo to the Gila County Building Safety Advisory and Appeals Board for another 4-year term of office beginning January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2020.
