Co-Location Resource Sharing Agreement between Gila County (dba Gila/Pinal Workforce Investment Board) and Central Arizona College.

Background Information

The purpose of this Agreement is to provide the required One-Stop services outlined in the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. As a mandated partner in the One-Stop Delivery System, Central Arizona College will be provided the necessary office space to perform work duties.

Evaluation

Central Arizona College will reimburse Gila County (dba Gila/Pinal Workforce Investment Board) for its share of the costs associated with co-locating at the Pinal County Comprehensive One-Stop Center as per breakdown in the Co-Location Resource Sharing Agreement. Office space is 64 sq. ft and common space is 52 sq. ft. Total annual cost is $4,788.

Conclusion

The Agreement between Gila County and Central Arizona College for office space and common space is to perform work duties at the Gila County Comprehensive One-Stop Center in Globe.

Recommendation

The WIB Program Manager is recommending that the Gila County Board of Supervisors approve the Co-location Resource Sharing Agreement between Gila County (dba Gila/Pinal Workforce Investment Board) and Central Arizona College for work space at the Gila County Comprehensive One-Stop Center in Globe in the amount of $4,788 for the period July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014.

Suggested Motion

Approval of a Co-Location Resource Sharing Agreement between Gila County (dba Gila/Pinal Workforce Investment Board) and Central Arizona College (CAC) to provide CAC with work space at the Gila County Comprehensive One-Stop Center in Globe in the amount of $4,788 per year for the period July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014.
