Presentation of Letters of Commendation by the Gila County Sheriff

Background Information

On August 16, 2013, an incident occurred in Globe which resulted in the fatal shooting of a person of which Gila County Sheriff's Office employees were the initial responders to the 911 call and were responsible for apprehending the perpetrator.

Evaluation

J. Adam Shepherd, Gila County Sheriff, would like to present Letters of Commendation to ten (10) Sheriff's Office employees who played a vital role in this tragic incident.

Recommendation

To allow the Gila County Sheriff to present Letters of Commendation to ten (10) Sheriff's Office employees for their display of teamwork, dedication and professionalism.

Presentation of Letters of Commendation by Gila County Sheriff J. Adam Shepherd to ten (10) Sheriff's Office employees as follows: Sue Henderson, Stephanie Marquez, Sgt. Virgil Dodd, Deputy Jay Valenzuela, Deputy Gabe Valenzuela, Deputy Chris McGroarty, Officer Melissa Ramos, Sgt. Erich Kenney, Lt. Christine Duarte, and Officer Johnnie Brake.
