Request/Subject

First Things First Gila Regional Partnership Council presentation by Hazel Chandler, Coordinator, Gila Regional Partnership Council; and Margret Celix, Community Outreach Liaison, Southern Gila County, Gila Regional Partnership Council.

Background Information

First Things First was established by the voters to provide greater opportunities for all children five and under to ensure that a child entering school comes healthy and ready to succeed. Regional Partnerships such as the Gila Regional Partnership Council are essential to First Things First.

Evaluation

The Board of Supervisors would be interested in receiving an update from Ms. Chandler and Ms. Celix on the First Things First Gila Regional Partnership Council's recent activities.

Conclusion

It would benefit both the Board of Supervisors and the public to receive an update on the activities of the First Things First Gila Reginal Partnership Council.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Board of Supervisors receive a presentation by Ms. Chandler and Ms. Celix on recent activities of the First Things First Gila Reginal Partnership Council.
