PURSUANT TO A.R.S. §38-431.01, THE GILA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WILL HOLD AN OPEN MEETING IN THE SUPERVISORS’ HEARING ROOM, 1400 EAST ASH STREET, GLOBE, ARIZONA. ONE OR MORE BOARD MEMBERS MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE MEETING BY TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL OR BY INTERACTIVE TELEVISION VIDEO (ITV). 2.   REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS:
 
A.   Information/Discussion/Action to ratify the Board of Supervisors' approval to support public transportation services for the Towns of Payson and Star Valley in the amount of $25,000; and to approve Economic Development Grant Agreement No. 121818 between Gila County and the Payson Senior Center for its Beeline Bus Transit System's Transit Program. (Mary Springer) Tabled
 
B.   Information/Discussion/Action to approve Economic Development Grant Agreement No. 121718 between Gila County and the Town of Miami to provide funding in the amount of $73,000 that will be used to fund the Town's Cobre Valley Community Transit System for the period June 19, 2018, through June 18, 2019. (Mary Springer) Approved
 
C.   Information/Discussion/Action to adopt Resolution No. 19-01-03, which authorizes the disposal of an unnecessary public roadway being Hill Street between Block 24 and Block 25, all in the Miami Map No. 2 Subdivision, Official Map No. 23, Gila County Records, and the Chairman's signature on the Quit Claim Deeds conveying the abandoned roadway to Monty and Clara Nichols, and Freeport McMoRan Miami, Inc. (Steve Sanders) Authorized and Adopted
 
D.   Information/Action/Discussion to approve Funding Agreement No. 207-19 between the Arizona Department of Housing and the Gila County Community Services Department, Housing Services, to provide Southwest Gas Corporation Weatherization Assistance Program funding in the amount of $18,490 that will be used to provide weatherization services to eligible citizens residing in Gila County for the period of January 1, 2019, through December 31, 2019. (Malissa Buzan) Approved
 
E.   Information/Discussion/Action to consider a sealed bid for the purchase of Assessor's tax parcel number 206-10-001 and, if accepted, authorize the Chairman's signature on the Quit Claim Deed. (Marian Sheppard) Accepted
 
3.   CONSENT AGENDA ACTION ITEMS:  (Any matter on the Consent Agenda will be removed from the Consent Agenda and discussed and voted upon as a regular agenda item upon the request of any member of the Board of Supervisors.)
 
A.   Approval of the following precinct committeemen appointments, which have been determined to exist upon review of the precinct committeemen allotment table for the Democratic Party as submitted by Lynette Brouwer, Gila County Democratic Committee Chairman: Ashley Lorraine Dixon-Globe #1 Precinct; Jeanne Kathleen Polenz-Globe #4 Precinct; Theresa Whitfill McCarville-Tonto Basin Precinct; Frank Drinker Whiteside-Tonto Basin Precinct; Suzanne Joan Covert-Payson #2 Precinct; Ruby Diane Green-Payson #3 Precinct; Lynnette Brouwer-Payson #6 Precinct; and Judith Rae Tolle-Zane Grey Precinct. Approved
 
B.   Approval to appoint Mark Taylor, a general residential contractor, to the Gila County Building Safety Advisory and Appeals Board to fulfill Peter Oddonetto's unexpired term of office through December 31, 2019. Approved
 
C.   Acceptance of a grant award from the Arizona Companion Animal Spay and Neuter Committee in the amount of $7,000 that will be used to expand Gila County's discounted spay/neuter services in Gila County for a period of one year. Accepted
 
D.   Approval of the January 8, 2019, Board of Supervisors' meeting minutes. Approved
 
E.   Approval of finance reports/demands/transfers for the reporting period of December 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018. Approved
 
F.   Acknowledgment of contracts under $50,000 which have been approved by the County Manager for the month of December 2018. Acknowledged
 
4.   CALL TO THE PUBLIC:   A call to the public is held for public benefit to allow individuals to address the Board of Supervisors on any issue within the jurisdiction of the Board of Supervisors. Board members may not discuss items that are not specifically identified on the agenda. Therefore, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute §38-431.01(H), at the conclusion of an open call to the public, individual members of the Board of Supervisors may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Board, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda for further discussion and decision at a future date. 5.   At any time during this meeting pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02(K), members of the Board of Supervisors and the County Manager may present a brief summary of current events.  No action may be taken on information presented. Comments Provided
